Azazie

Jenna, on May 10, 2020 at 10:10 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

I am leaning towards Azazie for bridesmaids dresses. I plan on letting the girls pick their own style. I see they have the try on before you buy purchase for $10 per dress. My question is who is responsible for paying for the girls to try on dresses before they purchase them? Some of my girls are really picky so I could see them wanting to try on a million different styles before they purchase them which could get rather pricing. Any advice for those that used Azazie?

Only one of my bridesmaids opted to try on before buying from Azazie. We never discussed who was going to pay for it and she paid.

We will be ordering through Azazie too. To help avoid paying to try dresses on, I took some of my girls to a maids and mimosas event at my bridal shop. It was a good way for them to meet each other, but they also got to try on a bunch of different styles. All of the girls who went told me how nice it was to be able to get an idea of what they liked. But other than telling my girls when to order and the color, I’m leaving the rest up to them. So I'd say if they want to try them on, it’ll be on them.

I personally would pay for it myself. It’s not their fault you decided to use an online retailer, and if you had chosen a traditional store they wouldn’t have to pay to try on dresses for your wedding.

My girls lived all over the country. I sent them the showroom link and they chose to order without trying on. I wasn’t going to mail them a ten dollar bill just for that. Plus I was already paying for their lodging and hair/makeup. But the dresses looked absolutely perfect and had fast shipping. I had ordered a sample myself to test them out and I loved the quality. We bought the matching ties for the men to make sure they got ordered and matched.

My friend did this and what she did was she and the other bridesmaids all could fit similar sizes so they all together chose like five or so and split the costs amongst themselves because they got to try on the same dresses

For my sisters wedding we ordered all dresses from their. My sister and I picked out three different dresses and all the bridesmaids picked one, two or all three of them and paid for them on their own.
When we finally decided on the right one for everyone to order it was going to be on the bridesmaids to pay for their dresses as well. But before the whole pandemic happened we were in a crunch and paid for the two MOHs dresses and a bridesmaid dresses because two of them are coming from other states and paid a lot in flights to come here for the wedding. All but two of the real dresses have arrived but now the wedding has been postponed we aren’t worried about them not being here yet. Azazie 1
This is the dress we went with for the three bridesmaids and we found a shorter dress that looks exactly like this for the two MOHs. This is the Azazie Molly dress and the MOHs will have the Azazie Katrina.

The one thing I have heard about Azazie is to order the dresses about 4 months ahead of time because shipping takes forever.

I almost went with azazie too and had the same thought.. i considered ordering and paying for a couple sample sizes and having my girls over for like a “trying on” party haha! But I also thought about picking the style of dress I wanted them to wear and letting the girls know that they have the option to try before they buy and leave it up to them. I ended up just going with David’s bridal though. I think it depends on your budget Smiley smile if you can fit it into your budget and want to pay for their samples do it! But if you don’t then it could add up. Good luck! Smiley smile
