Azazie wisteria the same as David's bridal wisteria?

MJ, on December 5, 2016 at 8:06 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

Does anyone know if the Azazie wisteria purple is like the David's bridal wisteria? My bridesmaids decided on dresses at DB and I told them any dress is fine as long as it's wisteria. One of my bridesmaids hasn't bought her dress yet and now doesn't like the dresses from David's bridal anymore because none have a sleeve option in wisteria. She is self conscience about her arms. So I've been looking around for alternatives and found wisteria on Azazie.com.

Azazie lets you get sample swatches so I would probably get the wisteria color and compare. Also she can pay $10 and try on a dress from Azazie to find out what she feels most comfortable in.

I would be careful bc as I was told by my bridal shop even using different designers can mean that the dresses are not made from the exact same dye batch and the dresses could be different colors. Why they reccomend them being ordered together and from same designer. It may make a slight difference that could show up

Has she asked a seamstress about custom sleeves in wisteria from DB? If she's short, she could order a dress with extra length and use the excess fabric to craft sleeves. Talk to a seamstress first, but I would think it could be done

DB also offers a chiffon bolero in most colors as a cheaper option than custom sleeves and a safer option than an alternative dress. They also have a multi way dress that isnt very expensive. My MOH was considering it. As the consultants to make sleeves with the multi use panels.

MrsSkitoBe - I didn't think about that at all. Thanks! Linda - I didn't know about that option either. I will take a look.
