Azazie bridesmaid dresses

Furure Mrs., on February 26, 2020 at 3:39 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

I know everyone on here must be sick of hearing about coronavirus and dresses, but I'm not sure if I should start looking for an alternative for bridesmaid dresses. My wedding is in September, and my girls haven't ordered their dresses yet (we were going to use Azazie). I feel like if they were to take longer than usual it wouldn't be an issue as they were going to order them by March 31st at the latest and that's longer than they should take to get here. But I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should find alternatives because who knows what will happen... thoughts?

Hey date twin! I talked to someone at Azazie because I had the same concerns. They told me the latest to order should be May. My cousin just ordered her dress on Monday and it should be here around May 4th. I was also told during the chat that workers are starting to go back to work where they start production and things should be returning to normal for production soon.

I’m ordering from azazie and I’m not to worried. Aren’t they located in California?

I’d start looking and seeing what the shipping time is. This may sound crazy, but I’d also look for those same / similar dresses on Amazon, Wish and any other site. And look at the shipping ETAs

Aside from the price of the wedding dress at boutique, I was told it could take min 6 months to get my dress because of the virus. I opted to do an internet search for the same dress and found it for less than a 1/4 of the price and shipping guaranteed by April (wedding in October) . I ordered a second dress from Wish (great reviews) as an alternate/ back up for $60 total - ETA mid March. I’m a bargain hunter / shopper and rarely pay full retail for anything.

I would email Azazie and ask. We got married last year (mid July) and one of my bridesmaids ordered her dress in April. It arrived in June and she still had a month for alterations.

I think it should be fine if you’re ordering it a lot earlier to ensure that even if they didn’t come in ten weeks or so that you could still get something else in time

Yeah not a problem! I know I was like if I'm going to switch to a different place I need to do ASAP but I felt much better after speaking with customer support.

My girls just ordered from Azazie on February 15th and they were all told the dresses would be in at the end of April. We are getting married in mid August so that is giving some time if there is a delay. I would say you could definitely still stick with Azazie.

I feel ya. My girls ordered there’s beginning of February, and won’t get here towards the end of April. My wedding is May 1st 😬 I told them well if they get delayed, we will be going to Macy’s to find black dresses lol i’m not gonna stress about it either.

My bridesmaids ordered from Azazie as well. My sister lives in India and no joke, got her dress in about 3 weeks. My other girls ordered late December and everyone had their dresses by mid January. I think everyone ordered the standard sizes too (not custom ordered).

They’re located in California but the dresses are made in China. I’m scrambling to find new bridesmaids dresses bc they haven’t even arrived in the US yet and then they’ll likely be quarantined for up to 10 days in Customs (per Azazie) in CA and then have to get to a FedEx facility to be scanned before the tracking numbers are active. Then it can be another 10 days to get it shipped. My girls need their dresses by mid-April at the latest bc we’re traveling for the wedding the last week of April.
