Azazie and maternity

Tamarae, on April 5, 2018 at 10:47 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
Hey all! I was planning to have my bridesmaids get their dresses from Azazie, but my sister will be eight months pregnant. Has anyone experienced their custom size ordering that far in to a pregnancy? The maternity dresses I've found to match are either hideous or intended to be regular size with a small baby bump.

I'm not sure if this helps, but azazie does have a few maternity bridesmaid dresses on their site! Maybe that would be better?

I haven’t used it but heard great things! They also have some styles that are naturally flowy so you could utalize those styles as well since it will be hard to get an accurate size early enough to get the dress on time and make sure everything is good.

My sister will be about 7mo pregnant for my wedding, unfortunately Azazie didn't offer the color we chose in any of the maternity styles, but if you filter all dresses by "empire waist" there are more options that can work! My sister is getting the Kaitlyn, her dress isn't supposed to come in for another few weeks but there were some photos in the reviews of some one who is super pregnant who wore that dress and it worked great for them so we aren't worried!

Thank you! Did you do custom measurements or just using the regular waistline?

Just regular measurements, we assumed she would need alterations regardless so just sized up a bit since you can't be sure how quickly the bump will grow Smiley smile good luck!

Thank you for this thread! I just heard that my Matron of Honor sister in law will be 10 days away from her due date on my wedding! I’m ALSO getting my bridesmaids dresses from Azazie and they don’t have my color in their maternity line (slate gray.)

Thats a great idea to filter by empire waist! Do you think she should extend the length to accommodate the belly and then have it hemmed in the back?
