Awkward height difference

We have the same height difference!!!!! I'm looking through all of my pictures on FB and they all look like the one below, not sure if this really helps I usually lean my head out and do the skinny arm in every picture because I'm terrible at taking pictures

This one was a selfie, but can you ask your photographer to take pictures from above like this to make the height difference less noticeable?

I'm a weenie and have learned to embrace it. Your photographer will be able to help

I have tried a few times to post pictures but it wont let me Our photographer did a great finding poses that helped with our height difference (FH is 6'4 and I am 5'4). We also just embrace our height difference and I love the ones where you can see it.

FH is a foot taller than me. It's never really bothered me, but I did warn the photographer.

I am wearing a 6" heel though, so it should make up for it.

I just try and remember the time someone said we were adorable while scuba diving because of the height difference. If they thought we were adorable then, we must be adorable always!

Damn @kittyprawn you are brave in your 6" heels! I might have considered that in my younger days but lately my tolerance for heels is less.

I agree with talking to your photographer and mentioning your concerns. I don't have the same height issue, but do have a less common height situation. FH and I are the same height, both standing at 6'-1" tall. I hadn't even considered how it would factor in to photos until we did our engagement photos. We worked with a student photographer, as the photos weren't really a huge deal to us, and it was a bit of a mess. Being new to the field she had this idea in her head of how to pose us, and those poses did NOT work for 2 people of the same height. So many came back looking BEYOND awkward. Now our wedding photog is a pro, so I'm sure she has many tricks up her sleeves, but I did mention my concern to her.

@Powers - well, to be fair they are really only like a 4" height for my feet because of a platform. I couldn't manage straight up 6". I wear 4" typically for work, so I should be okay.

I tend to just embrace it at this point (I'm 5'9", my husband is 6'6"). Our photographers had great ideas for poses so it's hard to tell in some of them.

I'm 4'11, fh is 5'11. I just learned how to embrace, my heels are only about 2 inches since I'm clumsy. Can't hide the fact that I'm short so just have to go with it.

We have the same height difference too and I only wear flats (except for when I'm in court for work). We just embrace it, and do poses sitting down a lot. We've also gotten some cute pictures of me clearly on my tip-toes to reach him.

I think big height differences are soooo cute! Take advantage of it!

I don’t consider myself short by anymeans I’m 5’9, but compared to my fiancé I’m obviously not as tall as him lol he’s 6’5 he says my height compared to him is perfect and he says I’m short all the time which I’m not 🤣
