Your typical wedding is 6 hours, that includes 2 hours for setup and one hour for tear down plus the price of travel and other preparations for each and every event. A typical day for a wedding DJ is 12 - 14 hours. The wedding DJ is one of the most important people that you will hire. You do not have a party without somebody that can provide the music as well as know how to handle a wedding professionally and maintain the flow of the night. Anybody can play music but it takes a professional DJ to read a crowd and put together music in an effective way that will keep your party going all night long.
