We are looking for a DJ for our wedding reception, and are just starting the process. Would like to get a sense of what to expect by way of cost for a DJ who is not hosting/announcing, just playing the music we provide. And if people have any recommendations, would love to hear those as well.

I'm in Tacoma. We're paying $800 for 6 hrs. We are getting a fog machine with that too. lol

We are in Puyallup and we are paying 2800 for our DJ but it is two locations and Lights too he is great!

We are going with Oren at Carr Priductions. We meet with him last weekend! It cost us $700 and he will be announcing as well!

Check out the Best Tacoma DJ. She is really reasonably priced compared to others I met with. She has a base rate for 5 hours, and charges $50 an hour per additional hour. She has lighting and dance floor options as well.
