We love the song and want to honor our mothers with a rose. I just am unsure if the song really fits with lighting of the unity candle? Less then a month away and I am stressing.

    I really don't think that is a song for the lighting ceremony. My daughter had the song "One Hand One Heart" from West Side Story for hers. Just the instrumental on the piano. It's a pretty song with lyrics perfect for the lighting.

    I don't know if it is exactly fitting for the unity candle... I had both our mothers walk down the aisle to Ave Maria. Maybe that could work?

    It was sand beautifully at a Catholic wedding I was at. I am thinking that it would be OK if you want.
