Autumn Wedding Cake Flavors??

Oh! Our icing is butter cream.❤ Congratulations to all us Fall brides. It's getting close!!

My mom had an October wedding and she went with a spice cake with buttercream icing.

Pumpkin spice would be my choice!

Carrot cake. Spice cake.

If having multiple flavors I would stick with at least one basic flavor. I love the untraditional flavors however my husband would probably only eat chocolate or vanilla. His only request for our cake was that we didn't get some weird flavor

Vanilla and chocolate are so ... safe. But I guess that’s a good and a bad thing? I’m hsving different cupcake flavors at my wedding but in the back of my mind I do worry that maybe some people do just want a boring / safe vanilla or chocolate cupcake. So keep that in mind. But to me these flavors scream autumn.

Following because I'm trying to decide on cake flavors myself because my friend is making my cake...

All the flavors PPs mentioned sound great. When you have a large crowd, it’s better to stay a little safe because everyone has different tastes.

I’ll also add that you should make sure you have a contract in place. You said she’s your BFF, but there are hundreds of “friendor” horror stories on here.

We're having.. Spice cake with cheesecake filling, smores with meringue icing, and almond cake with cranberry orange filling and almond buttercream icing

Our wedding was a couple weeks ago and everyone was obsessed with our cake. We did a vanilla almond with buttercream and chocolate mousse. It was simply amazing!!

My wedding is October 14th and we are doing cupcakes as well. We have two flavors; a spice cake with an apple pie filling and a caramel buttercream frosting and a pumpkin pie cupcake with a cream cheese buttercream frosting.

We're doing a fall brunch wedding, so we are doing Pumpkin Spice with dulce de leche filling, Poppyseed with raspberry filling, and chocolate with mocha filling. Everything we tasted was sooooo good. I was insistent on having at least one tier be pumpkin : ) (the bottom three are the ones we picked! )
