August Brides

If this doesn't calm down by August, I would be surprised and eloping. It's probably going to be ok - we moved our April wedding to August.

View Quoted Comment We had to reschedule! We were originally 4/4. Thankfully we decided to just face the music well before the others started to reschedule. Right now I'm just ready to be married - we were so close! Ugh it hurts to think about it.

I hope all this behind us by Aug. We are postponing our wedding from May to Aug 🤞🏾 All the best to brides in same situation.

Not nervous why stress about something you can’t control? If anything we will still get married with a private ceremony and move our wedding. It’s 5 months away a lot can happen in that time.

Yeah we are slightly nervous as far as the stress of moving dates with our current vendors. But we are trying to stay clam because worse case scenario we just reschedule to next spring ❤️I think I’d be most sad about losing our current date too!! It’s 8/8/20 how cute and easy to remember.

My wedding is set for 8/8/20 also!
As of now my most desperate backup plan is to get married with close family on the day of my planned wedding (civil wedding). And move the bigger celebration to a later date if need be.
But right now, I have no intention of cancelling or postponing. I actually just had my first planning meeting with my venue yesterday.
Hopefully this all pans out by then or at least I hope we can come out with effective treatments for this 🥺

We moved to August but have a backup plan! I feel good about it. Having the backup plan now would allow you to adjust to it. I know it's worked that way for me. 8/7 ... my birthday is 8/8 - so I start my first full day of marriage on my birthday. It just was the only date that worked. It hits right before kids go back to school. So, to all marrying on my bday - I feel good about it! I hope that you do too!!!
