August brides- tell me where you are in your planning process! Have you taken a break until we know more about when the COVID 19 restrictions will end? Have you gotten a lot of cancellation questions from family like I have?
I have a lot of the big planning and hiring done. I have pressed pause on ordering invitations and gifts for the bridal party. I have also had to reschedule my first fitting twice, makeup trial, hair trial, bridal shower, and bachelorette party.

Since I originally posted this, my fiancé and I have done a lot of thinking and decided that we WILL be getting married as originally planned. As much as we want to be able to have all of our family and friends there, we are completely ok with having just us and our two kids.
On the bright side, our venue has waived all minimum food/beverage cost requirements so we can have a smaller reception without penalty. So, as long as our venue is allowed to be open we will be there!

Completely feel you. How many guests are you thinking? We were initially contracted for 300 guests. I feel like gathering size restrictions will go down to 50-100 by August.

We have 275 on our guest list! I heard so many different things- I heard that they might only let you have a % of people that room holds. If schools are open in September I don’t see what the two week difference would be anyway!
