August brides - when are you sending the invites?

I'm doing mid may, mainly because the international guests will be in town so I figure it's good to hand deliver.

I planned on sending in late June which is 8 weeks before the wedding but now I feel a little paranoid.. I did STDs but not to the full guest list just the OOT, immediate family and close friends.

Maybe I'll rethink this to earlier in June? That seems so early especially since we don't have to have final counts until the week of too. But we'll see... I may have just been persuaded!

I'm with @futuremrss we are sending out our invitations the first week in June for our Aug 16th wedding. I need to have my final count for the caterer on aug 3rd so I am really hoping to get at least most of the rsvps back by then!

Around June 21st I'm mailing them wedding is August 30th

We're sending them 8 weeks before. 6-8 weeks before the wedding seems to be the "ettiquette" response. My cousin sent her invites out at the beginning of January for her April 12th wedding, and she mentioned that she had to track down more than 50 households that didn't rsvp. I think partially it may have been because they were sent too early, and people forgot to rsvp.

That being said, we have some guests coming from Europe, Australia, and the opposite side of the country, and we will be sending those out in the next few weeks.

I completely understand the burning feeling. Ours have been seating in a box for months now too. so, we decided to send them at the beginning of May as it will be a destination wedding for many. We did send save-the date magnets last November, though.

We sent save the dates in February so last week of June is when we will mail out the wedding invites. Most guests are in town anyway and for the ones who aren't they technically got notified in February and should have already started planning if they are coming out.

Did not do STD's so we will send the OOT guests' out in two weeks. Everyone else July 1st. Or two weeks before that.

I cant ever wait for anything, I like doing things right away so I already sent mine out with a RSVP date of June 10th. This way I have a definite head count way ahead of time so I can pay everyone off way ahead of time.

I'm sending mine out mid May.

The middle of May, RSVP by July 5th.

I am sending mine out May 16th with an RSVP date of June 16th. I just want to get that part done and off my checklist. I also can't map out my seating chart or do my escort cards without all the RSVP's back so I would like to be able to work on all of that asap.

Dang now I feel like I'm lagging! Wedding is August 22, I planned on sending them the last week of june/ first week of July. I've had my invites for a month just chilling in their box waiting to be held read and loved lol
