Definitely stressed about the small details! I also still have not picked my florist (working with two vendors and both take weeks to get back to me). Also, I hate my wedding coordinator at the venue. She is so rude and condescending. I knew it when I signed the contract with them, but the space was so gorgeous I thought I could work with her. But honestly I don't know if it was worth it.

I'm getting married on the 14th too.

I'm excited, but at the same time, I'm nervous. Done with all my shopping, booked the venue, decor, and photographer. Still deciding on the catering, I'm having an outdoor wedding, just worried about the weather.

Hello from San Diego, August Brides!! August 28th is our date! We got engaged on Mother’s Day, he decided he really wants to marry me sooner than later because his parents are older (80 years old) and we want our kids to have experiences with their grandparents. He’s 40 and I’m 38 so here we are!


The only thing I’ve gotten is my veil and my dress—I found the one! And I’ll be going in 7/13 for alterations.
Sent the e-vites and 55/75 have responded yes!
That is it. Send us some good vibes to find a venue that’s available on that date, please.
Taking deep breaths and remembering what’s most important to us—our family, our close friends, our officiant who we’re doing premarital counseling with, photographer, (videographer is a BIG want), and of course the hair and makeup artist, haha.
The venue will handle the details and the honeymoon can wait. I just wanna be married to my man. 😍

Everything has gone great! Except we havent found a place to live and not sure how were gonna play music since we don't have a DJ and its an outside wedding
