Attire question for 4PM ceremony

Our wedding will be from 4-10pm (had to push the start time up since the sun goes down earlier in December). I'll be wearing a long strapless dress and then bridesmaids will be in long burgundy dresses. The ceremony and reception are both inside. Since the wedding starts in the late afternoon, would...

Our wedding will be from 4-10pm (had to push the start time up since the sun goes down earlier in December). I'll be wearing a long strapless dress and then bridesmaids will be in long burgundy dresses. The ceremony and reception are both inside.

Since the wedding starts in the late afternoon, would it be ok if my FH and the groomsmen wore tuxes? It won't be a black tie affair by any means though! I'm guessing most people will wear cocktail attire Smiley smile I'll attach another pic of the venue!

    Of course they can wear tuxes. The only time attire comes up on these forums is if a bride is adding a dress code to her wedding invitations, or is erroneously advising guests that it's a black tie affair (requiring tuxes and gowns for the guests). Otherwise, you and your attendants wear whatever you choose.

    I absolutely think tuxes!! My wedding is December also and bridesmaids are in burgundy and grooms are tuxes Smiley smile have you picked your bridesmaid gowns yet?

    It's totally fine. No one wears morning coats anymore. Tuxes are pretty standard wedding party attire in America.
