I see a lot of the times it’s like a teddy bear or some jewelry for the flower girl

My late husband and I gave our ring bearer a groom bear and our flower girl a bride bear. Not sure if Build a Bear still has these, but we also added a 2nd outfit for both. Our niece and nephew were very young, though.


My fiancé and I aren’t having a flower girl or ring bearer. We didn’t feel we could just pick 2 out of our 6 nieces and nephews...and 6 felt like a lot of kids to include.

Daughter had four kids in her wedding. The girls were 8 & 4 and the boys were 6 & 10. The girls both had American Girl-type dolls, and at a craft show daughter found handmade wedding dress outfits for the dolls (with veils, bouquets, etc.) and she bought age-appropriate Lego sets for the boys (something they were really into at the time). They all seemed very happy. (The girls brought their "dressed up dolls" to the wedding, so there were some really cute photos of the girls, their dolls, and the bride taken pre-ceremony.)

We had two flower girls and one ring bearer. I got the girls the pillows pictured below. They loved playing with the sparkles and seeing their names on the pillows. I got the ring bearer the stuffed dinosaur with his name on it. He loves dinosaurs so I knew he would love it. He carried it around the entire night of the rehearsal after I gave it to him. If you know something they like, I would look for a cute way to incorporate those things. The pillows and dinosaur I got from Etsy. They have ton of items that you can get customized.

I got each of the kids Pascal backpacks (tangled wedding) that we are going to fill with stuff to keep them busy throughout the day. For the youngest we have also bought her a Build a bear that is a dinosaur since that is her current phase. You could also just get the kids a gift card with a nice card if you don’t know them well enough to know what they like(:
