Atlanta Botanical Gardens Engagement Shoot

Bumping - not located in Atlanta so I don't know how to help. This is a really cool idea!

Hi Lily - not interested in the ABG, but I just did my engagment shoot at Cator Woolford Gardens at the Frazer Center - http://www.frazercenter.org/inclusive-community/gardens/ - and it was beautiful and free. I attached a sneak peek photo our photographer sent over. I will post more once I get all of them back!

We also were allowed to bring our dog for pictures.

BecomingABenton: Your photos look amazing! We actually are a bit attached to ABG so we will probably stick with it in the long run. ABG has a lot of sentimental memories for us as former Gardens Members, but we wanted to help any other couples who wanted to shoot there as well! I hope you get your photos back soon! From the looks of it, they turned out great!

What a great idea! I like the idea of both gardens. We are probably going to do downtown Roswell.

Bellz: Thank you! I hope to help out others who can't afford the whole $200 but wouldn't mind splitting the costs depending on headcount! -This can be as low as $66.66 for a couple and their photographer for three total groups, which isn't too bad considering that general admission into the gardens is $21.95/person.

Teri: Thanks! It's a gorgeous location to get photos done! I highly recommend any form of gardens for engagement photos. They all look so great!

For a bit of clarity for those who are interested: Note that your photographer counts as an individual and you will need to "bring" your own. I know the lingo online seems confusing, but ABG does not have photographers at hand for you to use, unfortunately.

We did ours part 1 in downtown Woodstock where we live. Part 2 was at Gibbs gardens!

If you can't afford the cost you might want to check out Gibbs! Totally worth it!

Bumping because I also love ABG and had it picked as a potential e-session spot for us! I just didn't want to pay the whole $200 alone-so this would have been awesome! I also loved cator Woolford (free-if there isn't an event) and swan coach house ($300 for 2hrs)... Aside from the Atlanta wedding facebook groups, ask to join buckhead brookhaven exchange on fb. its a huge women only group and wedding related topics come up fairly often, so you may have luck posting it there too.

@APZ: Thanks! Great suggestions! I joined the large wedding garage sale group so I think it covers the most ground there!

Sad that we couldn't get another couple into the gardens with us. The photos turned out great and the weather was very nice! There was even a wedding that same day! Check our our photos from my amazing photographer, Molly Weir!
