Asking Your to be Bridesmaids Question

Why not make them a card with a hand written note?

Well, I didn't have to ask my MOH as she is my sister and we made promises very long ago that we'd be each other's MOH so when I announced to her that he had proposed, she immediately went into MOH mode lol.

As for my BMs, I sent two of them messages on FB asking them to be a bridesmaid and the other one I was texting with when I asked her.

Well, 2 of mine just assumed (correctly) that they would be BM, i asked my sister to be my MOH, and my 3rd BM i asked over facebook.

Do it in person, if you can. A handwritten note or card is a nice touch. If you can't do it face-to-face, then make a phone call. I know we live in a world attached to our tech devices, but if these people are important enough to you to stand beside you on your wedding day they deserve more than an e-message.

I found a poem online that is made for BM's and put it in a frame and asked them. I modified the poem to fit the girl. At the end of each poem it said _____ will you be my Bridesmaid? They all loved it and it cost next to nothing to do but it had a sweet touch. I was able to find enough for each girl to have a different poem and I have 9 BM.

I just asked them ... by simply saying It would be an honor if you would be by my side on the day I get married I wish I could of done something more creative but well I was far to excited ... and I knew right off the bat which 6 girls I wanted to be my Bms (however, I only asked 4) ...

That is really something that should be done in person- or by phone at minimum if they live elsewhere.

I agree like doing a phone or in person, I ended up texting mine, but thats because I was in the hospital having surgery or I would of called or asked in person, but then it all depends on the person on how you do it.

I asked my MOH in person and then She bought ME lunch! lol, gotta love her! I asked one BM over text because she was busy evrytime I tried to call or I was sleeping when she called me (I wk nights) and one BM in person. The other 2 are my daughter and future step daughter and they were a given.

I asked in person or over the phone (or xbox live!)
