Asking my fellow flat chested ladies!

Taylor, on May 25, 2020 at 3:52 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11
So, the entire top of my dress needs re-done because I have no boobies and it’s a struggle. The person doing my alterations (has 20+ years of experience) pinned it well but there’s still gonna be a little bubble of loose material over my boob areas. Any suggestions on bra’s, tapes, sticky “chicken cutlets” 😂 to fill that little bit of gap?

I had the same problem with my prom gown. We ended up going to a lingerie store and got the “chicken cutlets” and a pack of adhesive bras to help hold them in place. If your seamstress is putting cups in your dress, you could probably get away without the adhesive.

Wait... Whats a sticky "chicken cutlets"?
I'm not flat, per say... But I have flappy mom boobs from breastfeeding, so I'm intrigued...

My favorite description of them comes from the movie Miss Congeniality - “Those better be candy dishes.”

    I used this!

This specific one says it's unavailable, but you could find something similar. What I've found though, is that they really only stick well once or twice. It says they have more uses but... they don't stick as well after the first couple uses, in my opinion.

What I would do if I were you is buy one, try it on under your dress of course AND keep it on for the day (to make sure it fits/is comfortable/doesn't fall off) and THEN order a brand new one of the same type to wear at your wedding. You'll be able to tell when you put it on that it's not going to fall off. It sticks VERY well. But like I said, the stick is not nearly as good after the first use. So I recommend a brand new one for the wedding.

I have used this. It will fall off easily if you sweat.

I’m having the same problem with my dress. My dress has a fairly low v cut and I’m an A. Adding cups to the dress seemed to help a lot but we will see once I try it on again in a month after alterations.
