Asking for a monetary gift on wedding invitation

I was wondering where in this invitation this was supposed to go. Does you attach a small slip of paper or can it go on the actual invitation where it mentions the date, time, address of venue, etc? What did you guys do? Btw, I am not having a bridal shower and am not registered anywhere.

    You don't ask for money anywhere in the invitation! If you don't register ppl will get the point.

    Asking for money is rude. I'm still confused at why people think it's ok and act entitled. Guests give what they want. Not what you THINK they should give. My goodness

    ETA: no amount of cuteness for a poem is ok either

    You will receive mostly money anyways at a wedding unless you're registered. It's tacky AF to do so..

    It doesn't go on the invitation. Period. It's in poor taste.

    When people ask where you're registered, say you're not registered.

    That's all the hint they need to put cash or a check in the card.
