Aruba vs Barbados in October?!

Audrey, on April 14, 2018 at 12:54 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 10
So I read somewhere that Aruba and Barbados are two great places to go in October for a honeymoon! FH and I have never traveled like this before, so I don't even know where to begin.

I'm thinking we should do all inclusive since we're brand new to this traveling thing. I don't want to feel overwhelmed or get nervous in a foreign place like that.

Thiughts or opinions? If you've been, where did you stay? Pros, cons?!

Many advice is super helpful, as always!!!

So I can only suggest Aruba since I’ve been there we went snorkeling there and I got my hair braided by this nice lady that has a little shop there it’s a row of a bunch of tents they’re all so nice, I had so much fun there everyone is so sweet downside the ocean is soooo salty lol I went snorkeling and got out and I had salt on my eye lids 😂

Aruba! The weather will be perfect in October and less hurricane risk than Barbados. And I would definitely suggest all inclusive too! I have a done a lot of traveling and we decided on all inclusive for our honeymoon because it's a vacation you really just don't want to worry about anything on

My fiancé and I are going to Aruba for our honeymoon this October. When we started looking at hotels, there are very few all inclusive hotels, and only one adult only hotel. Aruba is extremely safe, so we opted for just a normal hotel so we can go out and explore the island and eat at new places.

So just decide what’s more important to you guys- do you want to just relax on the beach and stay at the hotel the majority of the time or go out and explore a little more for food and drinks.

We stayed at the riu, there is the riu Antilles and the riu palace .. Antilles is adult only but you can use the amenities at both!!
There are a few all inclusive options, not as many as other islands but it’s also not very big ... try looking on cheapcarribean.com

I found the Rui to be over crowded, especially the beach. The Rui also tends to have a draw to European and South American vacationers, just something I noticed, nothing wrong with it. We stayed at the Hyatt a few years back and it was great but not all inclusive. The ritz is lovely too, but not all inclusive. There is plenty of food in the area that you can walk to that take USD.
