Armpit Fat

Asheanus, on September 21, 2017 at 3:40 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 12

8 days til my wedding and now I have arm pit fat. Put my wedding dress on one last time and bam, I looked for ways to hide or tape but I'm not finding any solutions my dress has been taken in 5 times in the boob area (so I wouldn't be given guest a show) and now I'm freaking out. I added a pic of the problem.

It's a beautiful dress! You look amazing in it! Is there any way the bodice could be loosened a bit? I feel like the top may be too tight.

This is going to sound strange, but it works with corsets. Have you pulled your girls from the outside in after you put the dress on? It helps bring everything to the center and away from under your arms.

Are you wearing a bra with this? If you have a pushup bra on it's going to make this situation worse.

Did you talk to your seamstress? Is it a corset? Also maybe adding some kind of strap/off shoulder sleeve? Either way you look beautiful!

It is a corset, I'm not wearing a bra, I'm just busty lol. I'll try to loosen the back to see if that makes a difference. Thanks

I feel like this always happens with strapless dresses. Did you ask your seamstress what to do about it?

Seems like it can be let out a bit. Or the tuck option that Rebecca mentioned. Gorgeous dress!

I would loosen the corset a bit and see how it looks then!

I have never personally tried it, but there are wraps out there that are supposed to significantly alter/tighten specific areas for a short period of time. (It's not a miracle wrap- doesn't last forever or I'd be wrapped up like a mummy for a week straight!) There is a spa locally that does this along with massage and I know a lot of people have had great results. Maybe this is something you could consider? However, I'll be honest. You don't need to. When I see your picture, all I think is "Wow! She looks stunning!" Add in your beautiful smile and no one will notice those pesky flaws we all see in ourselves but no one else does.

Ok I had the same problem. What my seamstress told me-First when you put your bra on lean over to hook it. Also if you have it too high it will create this too. My bra felt ridiculously low when she put it on properly. Also for pictures (don't laugh) my photographer had me lift my arm, tuck and lower lol. It worked wonderfully for staged pictures.
