Are you inviting co workers?

I didn't invite any coworkers from my full time job. Too hard to pick and choose, and I didn't really need them there anyways. I also have a part time job where I only see coworkers a few hours a week or less, but I've known them for years. There were 3 of them when I started planning the wedding. I am only close with two, but was definitely obligated to invite the third. Then a 4th was hired about 6 months before the wedding. I felt weird leaving her out, but our hours rarely overlapped and I only met her 3 or 4 times for an hour or so. There were no hard feelings, and we are getting closer now that we see each other more.

My husband works for a large company and is close with many of his coworkers. It was too hard for him to leave anybody out, and he would have invited 20 if he could! He ultimately decided to invite just one, his partner who he spent every day with for several years, along with one family member who happens to be a coworker.

My coworkers are lovely, but they’re not invited. I felt like I couldn’t invite part of the staff without it becoming a huge issue and we just don’t have the space for the whole office and their spouses.

It can be hard because when I got married I was leaving a school that was closing. There was one younger teacher and we got along well, but I didn't know if I would ever see her again. Guess what? We are still friends. We don't socialize much but you never know. I think people are pretty understanding if they don't get invited.
