In the midst of the excitement of planning the WEDDING, is anyone having second thoughts about MARRIAGE? Just asking.

Oh yeah, I think it's a natural part of the engagement process. It is one of the biggest choices I will ever make. So yes, days when I am irritated with him, I second guess myself. Doesn't mean I am not in love or we should not get married. I think it is a healthy thought process.

I have thought about it once or twice more from the standpoint of "are you sure this the right thing?" I'm glad I had those thoughts because it means I don't have my head up in the clouds so much to not see reality and what I am getting into. I'm not more in love with the idea of a wedding than I am with my FH and wanting to spend the rest of my life with him.

I think many women are in love with the idea of getting married, more than the reality of being married. The wedding doesn't help because it can be like a romantic fantasy. Culture hypes the "happily ever after" dream and we fall for it.

So, I'm glad I asked myself a few times if I wanted what I am signing up for.
