Are videographers a must do?

I will 100% have a photographer but is a videographer necessary? Will I regret not having a wedding video?

I think if you’ve got a good photographer then it’s fine to not do video but honestly if you’ve the budget for it then it’d be nice to add video

It's all up to you if it's something you really want and can afford to have it.

For me I have memory loss issues and this was a need for me and I knew I wouldn't be able to remember all of my wedding and certain parts of it. So we have both a Videographer & a Photographer for our wedding.

I don't think it's necessary. Photos capture memories if the photgrapher takes good ones

If you have the money for it, I think it's worth it. Friends have said, the video captures moments the photos may not. Also, I asked my photographer for a good videographer that he could recommend - that way they have worked together in the past. Just something to consider if you do decide to go in that direction.

Nothing is necessary for a wedding other than a marriage license, witnesses, officiant and the bride and groom. Everything else is just extra. For my wedding, I really wanted a videographer, but my husband think we needed one. I would have been heartbroken not to have a video from our special day so we had the extra money and hired a videographer. If we hadn't had the money, my parents offered to pay for one for us because they knew how much I wanted one and my family wanted a video from our wedding as well.

To us, a videographer was a must. We absolutely love our wedding videos and watch them all of the time. We also love our photos, but having the entire ceremony (among other videos) to relive our day is just so special.

If you can fit it into your budget I think it will be amazing to have! We originally were on the fence but after seeing some of our photographers work I HAD to have it haha but it is definitely pricey. I’m so excited to have our vows on video.
