In my experience they're done either before or during dinner.. once dinner is finished people are usually up and mingling/ dancing

At the weddings I've been to, they were right before dinner.

I thought they were usually towards the end of dinner after everyone has gotten their food. Doesn't matter as long as your guests get their food on time. Just make sure that the toasts don't go on and on.

I believe mine are right before dinner, most likely during the first course/appetizer

Before dinner we had the MC make some quick housekeeping announcements and then we just had him introduce DH's father to do a prayer.

We did the rest of the speeches/toasts after dinner but technically we probably should have just done them before because the food was running a tad late.

We did after dinner. As a guest, the last thing I wanna do is wait until after all the speeches to eat my food.

At most weddings I've been to, the toasts were during dinner, like the beginning of dinner.

As a professional wedding planner I suggest most of the toasts be done at rehearsal dinner,. On wedding day: father of the Bride, the bestman and made of honor will do their toasts. If you think invited guests might wish to toast the bride and groom, have the DJ suggest to keep toasts under a minute. I would also have toasts done at the end of the first course! To all & future brides I wish you all a life filled with love, laughter and happiness 💕
