Are these gaudy/tacky?

I wouldn't call them gaudy at all. I'm personally just not a fan of taller centerpieces cause they usually get in the way of guests being able to see each other.

If that is what you want, there’s nothing wrong with them. Make sure they don’t obstruct the view across the table.

Those centerpieces are the farthest thing from gaudy.

I’m not a huge fan of fall centerpieces because as AJ said, it’s hard for guests to see over/around them. But if that’s what you want, they aren’t guady!

Not gaudy, but a word of warning they look super expensive so be ready to pay $$$.


I don’t think the height is a problem, they looo tall enough that the flowers are over peoples heads, not in front of their view, abs the vases are clear. Plus frankly most people are not conversing that much across the table because those tables are fairly large...most people talk to to the guests on their left abs right. Always somewhat confuses me when people complain about tall narrow centerpieces, tbh I find many shorter centerpieces to be way more obstructive because they end up right in your field of vision, like these, yet no one ever complains about medium size centerpieces on these forums.

I think they're fine, but even if they were gaudy... It's your day! You should feel entitled to go all-out gaudy if that's what you like!

Its not gaudy. Just be mindful of the ceiling height. I think if you're reception area has low ceiling, I wouldn't pick a tall one. I think they look pretty in a high ceiling ballroom.

Definitely not gaudy and won’t obstruct your view unless your view.

I love these but I may be biased because my centerpieces are similar haha. My inspiration picture is below. I'm doing a mix of high and low because one of these tall ones cost me $190 plus $10 for the trumpet vase rental 😅
