Are labels a loss?

Chelsea, on December 31, 2019 at 5:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 13
Is it tacky to use clear labels rather than having the address printed directly on the envelope?

Nope, most people don't pay attention anyway.

Those little things don’t matter to me personally and I wouldn’t think twice about it. However, older relatives might say it’s tacky. But I think if it’s easier for you, go for it

I think clear labels looks a bit tacky, but to each her own. It's just that it kinda reminds me of office mail.

It’s fine. The envelope gets tossed anyway. 😉

I stressed about this too for the envelopes for our local reception but was so stressed with things to do, I thought “screw it” and used printed address labels. I doubt anyone cared. 😆

Not tacky at all. My FH and I used labels. Most people are going to throw the envelope away almost immediately and won't even care. Smiley smile

My parents bought us pearlized labels. So that's what we're using.

We used clear labels for all of our wedding mail (stds, invitations, rsvp cards, thank you notes) - my handwriting is atrocious and it's a LOT less expensive than a calligrapher

    That's what we used.

If people had a problem with it, we never heard about it. Honestly, I doubt people even noticed.

I'm buying a stamp for our information and then handwriting our guest information for STDs. But having it printed on the envelopes for invitations.

Oh this might work for me because of the color of my envelopes. Thanks!

    I don't think so, I think it's totally fine.
