Are fake eyelashes really necessary

Don't feel pressured! You hired your makeup artist to make you look how *you* want to look on your wedding day, not how anyone else wants you to look. If you are not interested in the fake eyelashes, let the makeup artist know before she starts working on your makeup.

I will say... the eyelashes my MUA put on me felt nothing like the one or two pair I've tried in the past. I couldn't even tell they were on. I know you said you didn't even want to try them.. but if you're at all curious, I think it would be worth it to do a trial run. But, in the end, you do you!

Be true to who you are. Just because something is popular with others doesn’t make it mandatory for you if you don’t like the look. Be vocal about what you want and what you don’t.

As others have said, nothing is necessary if you don’t like it - your style is totally up to you! I would point out, however, that in order for photos to look really great and polished, some degree of exaggerated makeup and eyelashes is usually required. It will look a little dramatic in person but will look just perfect in photos. But in the end, totally up to you! Whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Personally, I love fake lashes and want super dramatic ones on y special day but that's my personality, if you don't like them just make that very clear you don't have to wear them if you don't want to it's your special day, and no one, should make you do anything you don't want to do
