Are Eddy k Dresses Good Quality?

Brooke, on May 22, 2022 at 5:24 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
Does anyone know if Eddy K dresses are good quality? I am going to a bridal shop that only carries Eddy K dresses and I wanted to see if anyone has heard of this designer and if they are good quality gowns! Thank you in advance!

Thank you!! So it felt like a good quality with the materials? I know some people say more “inexpensive” dresses can have worse quality but from what I read it seemed like it’s good quality materials?

I know this is old but I wanted to share my experience with Eddy K to warn future brides. Their dresses are beautiful, but I would advise against buying a gown from them as the sample to actual gown has significant inconsistencies. The barely used sample I paid to have shipped to a bridal shop was beautiful and fit like it was made for me, no alterations were needed. I had searched everywhere for a dress to accommodate my small bust, and this was it. It was ordered in the same size.

When my dress arrived, it was so far off from the sample I couldn't believe it. The bust was about 2 cup sizes larger than the sample, one cup was significantly larger than other, the lace detail in focal areas was different (sample had fringe lace at the neckline that was missing), and it was frumpy and loose. The boutique was pretty shocked and quite embarrassed when they saw the difference. It was so bad that I actually ended up having the sample dress shipped back in and swapped my BRAND NEW dress for the used sample with a dirty hem. They had to go to bat with Eddy K to get them to refund me a measly 25%.
Unless you are prepared to receive your dress markedly different with poor QA and/or spend a ton in alterations avoid them at costs.

Please avoid them. I ordered a dress back in February. I tried the same sample dress in TWO DIFFERENT STORES. Come July, I tried on the dress, and it was a TOTALLY different dress. The sample I tried on was a crepe material, felt very luxe & was very flattering on the body. The dress I received however was made from 100% polyester and looked like a cheap satin pillowcase. Not only was the material totally off, so were the sleeves. The sample dress had these beautiful luxurious chiffon sleeves, the cheap crap they sent me was cheap chiffon with lined with tulle.
When I contacted the boutique they were extremely uncooperative, but the designer/company themselves were worse. Ironically, when I reached out to them, they told me they had my size as an archived piece at their headquarters. I demanded pictures and videos of the dress, only for it to be the same thing they sent me. They tried gaslighting me saying it was the original I tried on in both stores. However, I knew it wasn’t because I had photos and videos of the dress from both stores. I eventually got a refund after way too much back and forth, please save yourself the time, money and energy and do not purchase their gowns.
