Are bridal sheer colors supposed to match wedding colors?

Hello my fellow brides. I have a question. What are the colors for a Traditional bridal shower and is it proper etiquette for the bridal shower colors to match the wedding colors?

Ive never heard of that. My shower had a tropical theme since we were planning a Caribbean cruise for our honeymoon (first wedding). My wedding was not even remotely tropical.

Colors (of the wedding, the shower, or both) have nothing to do with etiquette.

Colors have nothing to do with etiquette. You don't have to match everything, Just make it consistent. So, for example, if you are having an old Hollywood inspired wedding, pick a color or a texture that ties both events together.
