Are Bridal Portraits Worth It?

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. I would just make sure that the wedding photographer captures enough photos on your actual wedding day. I wouldn't pay again to have more portraits unless the ones from the actual wedding were lost or horrible.

I’m sure this will vary from person to person, but for me bridal portraits would not be worth it at all. I just don’t find the need to have hundreds of pictures of myself. We are also having a destination wedding, and I am just having the photographer snap a few photos of me in my dress before the ceremony.

I didn't have a destination wedding but had time with my photographer for individual portraits of both me and H - check with your photographer if you can squeeze in time for them! H and I both don't love posing for pictures so the 15 or so minutes it took was long enough for us lol

Its up to you in my opinion its not worth the extra money but like I said it's your choice

I don't think its worth it and I don't think they are very common these days. We have our photographer arriving 2.5 hours before our ceremony during which they will capture some photos of me getting ready and also some solo portraits in my dress. To me, that's plenty of photos of just me.
