Aquamarine ring: how to clean??

Gwendolyn, on December 19, 2018 at 3:25 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
My fiancé got me a beautiful aquamarine ring for our engagement and I work as a hair stylist, so my hands get gunky/dirty during my shifts. Does anyone else have an aquamarine ring?? How often should I be cleaning it?? Google told me to use dish soap, hot water and a toothbrush. But that makes me nervous. Thoughts??

My main stone is aquamarine and the metal is palladium. I just bought jewelry cleaner and it works perfectly and it uses a brush and a cloth. Take your ring off when you work or wear it on a necklace. That's what I have to do (I'm a server/bartender) if not it gets super gross.

I have a diamond ring, but I'm pretty sure care is similar. I found a jeweler in the area who cleans rings for free (they inspect before cleaning to make sure nothing is loose) then they steam clean. I do it once a month!

I have a diamond but I bought one of those little ultrasonic cleaners from Amazon and I swear by it! It cleans anything.
