April Brides?

Daughter's wedding is April 28th.

To Do Yet:

Hair and makeup trial: She's doing in Feb. when sister & I are out visiting.

Wedding shower: Feb. 17

Invitations mailed: Goal is next Monday, Feb. 5 (MOB and MOG addressing envelopes right now!)

Flower girl baskets made (by me) and petals ordered

Flower girl dresses ordered

Alcohol to get purchased by bride & groom

Transportation figured out for day of wedding

MOB needs a dress

Decide on, and do, greenery balls for ceremony: pew decorations

Gather supplies for DIY photo booth & double-check if cousin is going to set that up

Figure out table arrangements and seating chart

Finish all centerpieces (need to buy more supplies)

Purchase new batteries for all the candles

Serving utensils for the donut table

Try on and pick up dress from alterations person: Feb. 16

Yikes! This seems like a lot yet?

Hey ladies.
My day is Friday, April 13th!
I'm so excited!!!
But I know I have alot left to do. I've been sick since New Year's Eve and had no energy at all to do anything. So here's my list.
-Wait on my custom made dress to get here
-find accessories once it arrives
-wait on bridal partie's attire to arrive
-find hairstyles for bridal party
-find my FH's and my boots
-make 4 elven circlets
-make my bouquet-purchase bridal party and parent gifts
-make 4 bridal party lanterns
-make 5 more dreamcatchers
-purchase 10 bamboo windchimes
-purchase fabric to make archway covering panals
-find tule for table runners
-find 48 candles in blue and purple
-purchase black sand
-firgure out what my flower girls will be tossing-find flower girl's & ring bearer's boots
-gather items for my alter
-plan and book honeymoon accomedations
-find design and order cake
Now that I see it all set out I feel so unaccomplished xD. So much stress... I have reorganized the WeddingWire checklist to fit my schedule and now I'm following it. If I can get things done on time then I'll be golden lol. Wish me luck!

View Quoted Comment I used store bought blank labels (from target) and used a word document. I followed the directions on how to create the template and snuck into work one weekend and printed them there! It saved me a lot, only paid a few dollars for labels! And good advice from my sister, don’t forget to print double (invites & thank you cards)

We’re getting married April 6th. This discussion has made me feel sooo much better! Glad to know we’re all in the same boat! I feel like we’ve gotten a lot done but now all the details are still coming together so sometimes I feel behind.
I still need to...
- order favors
- get parent and bridal party gifts
- get alterations done
- pick our songs for first dance & parent dances
- boom transportation
- book honeymoon stuff

I still need to-
-Pick up my dress from alterations
-do my hair/make up trial and bridal portraits (scheduled for March 17th)
-MOH has ordered but still needs to receive dress (both bridesmaids have theirs, all have their shoes)
-Follow up on RSVPS after deadline
-Schedule meetings with vendors for final numbers/finalizations
-Decide if we're doing a garland for the trellis
-Finalize rehearsal dinner stuff
-Order groomsmen gifts
-Order "detail" things like ribbon for the aisle, vase filler, etc.
-make our unity candle
-decorate our unity candle and taper candles
-decide on father/daughter song, wedding party announcement song, and garter/bouquet toss songs (we already have ceremony music and first dance decided)
-assign "roles" for things like guestbook table
-finish our set dance lessons/first dance "choreography" (It's not really a choreographed thing like going to be on youtube, but just choreographed in the sense that they're teaching us a particular set of steps and turns in a particular order so that we feel comfortable on the dance floor and aren't doing the high school sway.)
-Order alcohol and bar glasses (after final numbers come in)
-Find something borrowed and a half-penny for my shoe.
