Whos getting married in April? How are you feeling? What is your favorite part of planning? What are your wedding colors? Tell me all about it... Its getting so close! Lets hear you brag a little about your weddings

Im getting married on April 24, 2021 and i am so excited. I just want the day to hurry up and get here. I have loved every minute of planning and i can not wait to walk down the aisle. We are having an outdoor sunset wedding with tons of flowers and candles everywhere. We are not going to have any actual lights on but only soft uplights and candles. For the ceremony music we are having a harp player and then will switch to a DJ for the reception. The wedding colors are lavender and sage so the centerpieces are very woody and rustic with candles, sliced wood, greenery and lavender on them. We are having old school video arcade games brought in so they can be played, life size lawn games, a cigar bar, BBQ food truck, Taco food truck, Smores food truck and a portable coffee bar. Favors are small jars of local honey and the night will end with a small fireworks show

Obviously there are tons and tons of tiny details that go in to making this day YOUR special day and i just love hearing about it. I hope everyone has an amazing wedding

Wedding twins! I'm also getting married on April 24, 2021! Our invitations just came in this week, so we'll be working on getting those out this weekend. Our colors are black and red (our favorite color combination) and the theme is motorcycles since we both ride and that's kind of how we met. We're having black tablecloths and a friend is custom making laser printed models of MotoGP circuits as our centerpieces. The venue is a garden setting, so that's really the only decoration we're having. I'm a scrapbooker, so our guest book will actually be pages that will go into our wedding scrapbook. I'll be making playlists for all of our music except the song while FH and I are taking communion. My church's worship pastor will be playing a song for that, which is super special since I'm on my church's worship band. It will be early afternoon with an hors d'oeuvres reception. Alcoholic beverages are beer and wine since the venue doesn't allow hard liquor (also, money), but they've said it's okay for FH and I to toast with whiskey. Our venue shares a parking lot with a local boutique inn. I have a suite booked the night before and the night of. My sister (MOH) will probably stay with me the night before and it's big enough for all the bridesmaids to get ready there. It has a hot tub on the balcony, so John and I will be able to relax a bit after all the festivities. We're not having flower girls, but my cousin's daughters are our ring bearers. The older (4) will be pulling the younger (1.5) down the aisle in a little red wagon. The younger will be holding the ring box, which has a latch on it. I know John is ready to just be married, but I'm really enjoying the process and being able to customize aspects to my specs. I've planned many weddings for friends before, but it's just so much more special when its your own and you can make things what YOU want them to be.

Your big day sounds like it’s going to be amazing! We are getting married 4/22 so essentially the same weekend! I’m sooo excited and just want it to come already. We are doing a destination wedding in North Carolina at a beautiful private venue (so we can do indoor or outdoor whichever suits restrictions and weather best). Our colors are burgundy, blush, ivory with lots of greenery and candles everywhere! We have a bridal party (but it’s pretty casual) and my stepdad will be walking me down the aisle. We have an intimate guest list so we won’t have to worry about Covid related issues. We are sooo ready to be married and this is original wedding date ❤️ Here’s a couple pics of our venue April Brides 1

4/3/21 AZ bride here! I’ve been married before but have never had a wedding- he’s never been married. He wants the whole wedding ceremony & party- I’m secretly glad he does! He’s a firefighter/ medic & is the captain of his crew which means he’s extremely busy both on & off shift. That landed most of the planning on my shoulders. I narrow down our options, present them to him & we decide together what we want. Our colors are red and charcoal with creams to soften it up. Our guest list is around 90 with no children (except for the flower girl & ring bearer). Wedding party is small - 3 bridesmaids & 2 groomsmen (1 bridesmaid might not be able to participate as she’s going through chemo). We love our venue- we’re getting married outside & the reception is inside! Exposed beams, brick, vines & fountains!April Brides 4

I’m so happy to see you loving your wedding process! I’m getting married 4-17-21 so a week before you. I didn’t become a April bride until January of this year lol I was originally plan to get married September 25, 2021 but life has other plan in store for me. Prior to finding my current venue I was so stress about pairing up a catholic mass on Saturday in center city with a venue that would cost us an arm and a leg. I’m so happy we went with what made us happy and opted for a barn wedding 1 hr outside the city. My fiancé and I are a lot happier now versus constant arguing before. We are doing bbq for our food, Dan for our reception and my nieces and nephews are playing music and singing songs for us and we’re doing karaoke. We have corn home and giant Jenna for cocktail hours. I’m also happy about our micro wedding being mostly all inclusive so I don’t have to worry about decorating! The only thing we are bum about is the fact that we could one have 58 guests vs 73 like we originally signed for. But what bride getting married during Covid isn’t having this issue? Your wedding sounds amazing by the way! So happy we are all
    Getting married soon!

We have similar stories. I was originally goign to be October 2021 but had to push it up due to falling in love with a venue and them only having a few weeks left open.

Covid has been a struggle for a lot of brides and i hope by the time everyones wedding gets here, its kind of back to normal. They just opened my state back up to 100% and lifted the mask mandate so we shall see.

I hope you have a wonderful wedding!!

Wedding twins! We’re getting married 4/3/21 as well! We are doing a simple backyard wedding with 50 people. Overall it hasn’t been too bad. We were supposed to get married 3 years ago but life happened. I finally said let’s just do this. We already had an idea of what we wanted to it was easy to piece everything together!

Sounds great. We are getting married April 17th. Similar Rustic “I Do BBQ” theme at a local farm. The count down is here, I’m finalizing our Bbq Spice Rub favors, and Koozies. We have a DJ and private chef cooking bbq onsite. Good luck everyone. Deep breathes 💆🏼‍♀️April Brides 6

I'm also a 4.3.21 bride! We chose that date by accident, too, by choosing April and then the first Saturday of the month. Smiley smile We chose April because we are in Arizona and it is already getting up in the mid-70's in March right now. April is the PERFECT month for a wedding!

Everything is ready to go and I pick up my beautiful dress in one week! 3 shades in the purple category (from lavender to a darker purple and one in between) and a cream to offset those lovely colors. We are also having an outdoor ceremony and decided to keep it small, inviting under 25 people and almost every single person is coming, even flying in from all over the US to see us. Many have been quarantining if they are able. Amazing!

I purchased a TON of specialty made to order items that have our names and the 4.3.21 date on them. And a fun vendor I'm bringing in as a surprise for our guests that I haven't told anyone about so they will keep busy while we are having our photos taken.
    Good luck, April lovely brides!
