April 28th here! I’m honestly mentally so over the planning part of it. It stopped being fun for me a few months ago. But I am excited for the day and seeing what all this hard work brings! The big stuff (venue, photographer, etc) was so easy. I had it all done last year (we got engaged in Jan ‘21). Then it was a bunch of nothing because everything was taken care of that could be at the time. But now it’s all these last minute things that are driving me nuts! My sister (who is also my co-MOH with our other sister) was sending me ideas for flower girl hair accessories (her 2 year old is one of my flower girls 🥰) and I was like…omg….I haven’t even thought about baskets for them!

This sounds like me! We got engaged April 18, 2021 and we took care of all of our vendors right away. I took a long break after that and didn't really start worrying about details until January of this year and I'm really wishing I had taken care of the majority of the details during all that downtime last year. We're getting married May 7th!

April 16/2022!!! Excited and sooooo over the planning and details and all that shenanigan!! I just want to get to the day and celebrate! The planning has been so exhausting and draining!

It's been a long road. Our date is April 15th!! only 2 weeks away!!

We got engaged May 2018. Our plan was to get married in 2020 and enjoy our engagement for a year or so and take our time with the planning process. Started actively planning in 2019 and early January/February 2020 until covid hit us and shut everything down and our planning came to a halt and we were in limbo for a year and a half. unfortunately our wedding reception venue/ceremony venue went under and closed their business for good and couldn't get married in 2020. We tried for another date in July 2021 thinking that the vaccines would be distributed to people but realized we felt it was still unsafe and then our third time setting the date was 4/15/22 and I am SO SO ready and happy and just excited. We've been ready to enter this new chapter of our lives for awhile lol. I am glad I have other people in these forums who have gone thru similar journies.
