Applying for a 24hr alcohol permit??

Hey does anyone know what is the process of applying for a 24hr liquor license/alcohol permit. Our reception is at a Community Center and although the center does not serve alcohol, either the caterer has to have license or we can get a permit. I'm not sure where to go or what to do? Can anyone help?

Hi Jallon
I had to get a liquor license for a bday party. I live in VA so I don't know if this will help but here is the link.
http://www.abc.state.va.us/licensing.html
Then go to Banquet licenses and click on the link Banquet (One-Day) and Specialty Banquet.

Talk to your local City Hall. Most temporary licenses are issued by your city. If the venue is not located inside city limits, then you must apply at the county level. This means you would have to locate your county's courthouse and inquire there. I hope this helps!
