Apple shape bridesmaid dresses

My sister is my only attendant. She is a bit apple shaped. Smaller breasts (size b) and a very large waist. I have no clue what would look good on her. She is not one to go dress shopping on her own, so it's up to me (10 hrs away) to suggest styles. I would love to see what you found works for your attendants. I thought one dress would really work for her but she looked a bit frumpy. I just want her happy and feeling confident and pretty on my big day.

Empire waist that flows out. So nothing clings to her but she look airy and light

Another option could be an A-line dress. I usually have to buy those bc I'm larger on bottom then on top.
