Good evening! When doing Cocktail Hour and choosing the amount of appetizers…can you guys tell me how much you would order…say for 100 guests?

That is something to ask your caterer. Will you be serving a full dinner afterwards? Then stay on the smaller side with 3-5 per person. If it’s appetizers only, 15-20 per person is recommended. A full dinner is the equivalent of 6-8 heavy appetizers (chicken satay, egg rolls, carved beef on rolls, etc.)

I want to at least serve 3 appetizers. It’s just the quantity of stuck on. But yes, we are serving dinner.

As Michelle said, 3-5 per person is standard (so approximately 400 bites/pieces). You can certainly find cheese/cracker and veggie trays at grocery stores/Costco that are very reasonably priced.
