Anyone use a honeymoon fund?

Me and my FH are interested in going to Italy for our honeymoon, unfortunately we are paying for our wedding so this is just a added expense. We are going to register at bed bath and beyond but also would like to try the honeymoon registry. I have heard mixed things about it, has anybody used it?...

We are going to register at bed bath and beyond but also would like to try the honeymoon registry. I have heard mixed things about it, has anybody used it? Any advise would be helpful!

    I think it's funny when people say asking for cash is tacky and rude but asking for a new toaster isn't? At least with the honey fund you're likely to get what you like and your guest will be happy to give you want you want. I think more people are for them but don't say anything because of all the prudes and haters.
