I would never hide them because they're part of me. I've also attended weddings where the bride and/or groom were tattooed with them on display and even the most conservative guests never said a word.

That makes perfect sense. Usually by hiding something you end up drawing more attention to it. Plus they are part of you and no one else's business.

I've got 2 back tats and 2 arm tats that are going to show while I wear my strapless dress. My thigh tattoo might be exposed during the garter toss but I'm definitely not hiding them. I don't think any of my family members will have an issue with them either but then again, I don't care enough to notice lol

I was thinking about covering mine but my youngest daughter was SO OFFENDED at the idea. The tattoo as her and her sister’s name and she accused me of wanting to cover her up LOL

I didn't really care either way, my dress decided for me! I have a small-medium sized tattoo on the middle of my back and I ended up picking a dress with a low back so it will pretty much be on display, with the exception of some of my hair probably being in the way. When I went dress shopping, I told all the stylists I worked with that it either need to be covered up completely or showing completely because anything in between would look weird.
