Anyone postponing to next year?

Rachel, on March 18, 2020 at 1:50 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 3
We are already civilly married. We want to get married in church and party with our families! Supposed to be May 4, considering August or October. This thing could be over soon, or go on forever, and I don't want to stress about having to reschedule it again. We have my husband's family coming over from Europe, so who knows how things will develop internationally. We may wait until next year.

It pains me to wait so long, but it might be worse to stress over it for 5-7 more months. Thoughts?

I just had to switch mine to next year too out of the same fear. Sad watching the tracker go from 42 days to 407.

We decided to wait until next year. The idea of trying to plan for the end of this year when no one knows when this will be over is more stress than I can handle. What if we have to reschedule again (really hope that is not the case but I am trying to be prepared). We are having a very intimate church ceremony on our original date in 29 days and thinking of doing the who kit and caboodle for our year anniversary. This way we can party we all survived the pandemic and our first year of marriage.
