Anyone not creating a wedding registry?

Anyone here NOT making a wedding registry? We aren't, as we live together and have things already, but we are saving for a house. I DONT EXPECT GIFTS, as I am just happy to have people come and spend the day with us. Anyone else skipping the registry?

There is NOTHING wrong with not having a registry. We don't have one. I'm not having a shower or any of that.

I did not skip the registry - I have lived on my own for a while now, but I've always had cheap shit. It was an opportunity to go for stuff I really wanted and not just the bare minimum.

However, one of my besties/BMs is getting married in March and she does NOT want to do a registry - her house is already jam packed with stuff (since her mom passed away and she inherited a lot of things) and she would rather just receive money. The best way to ask for money is to not ask, but instead not register and people will take the hint.

Yup. We don't have one, nor did we have a shower or Bridal party. We want everyone to eat, dance, drink, and go home. Lol. I don't expect gifts. IMO it's a waste of time for a registry. Not knocking anyone who does it. More power to you.

I think we will be skipping the registry too. We lived together for a year before we even got engaged. We have all we need and aren't going to ask anyone to bring any gifts.

We're not doing one either. We have pretty much anything we would need.

We are skipping the registry. We've lived together for 6 years. So no need for it

Katie, we also want a dumb waffle maker. Lol which we will buy eventually when we find it to be a priority. I just loved the way you posted that

In our region/social circle boxed gifts are given at the shower and usually everything given at the wedding can fit in an envelope. I don't think I would have bothered with a registry, if I knew I wasn't having a shower.
