Dedicated June 2020

Anyone from Ms?

I feel as if MS hasn't been hit as hard as some other states, but I also feel like the people here aren't taking it as seriously. I'm an essential worker (teacher) and we are still educating our kids through distance learning. The roads always seem full when I go out. I just feel like most people are getting restless and tired of being at home.
The governor yesterday extended the shelter in place order until May 11th for the elderly and at risk individuals. I know like he said that we can't just flip on a light switch and be back to normal, but I feel he is going to take things extremely slow.
The bridal salon where my dress is is opening back up Monday and I have a fitting scheduled for May 8th. We postponed the wedding from April 18th to June 20th thinking it would be over by then, but I just can't seem to get excited about the new date. My family is being the opposite of most and believing it will actually happen. I just don't know when the right time to pull the plug would be 😥

    Hi Courtney,

This is definitely a crazy stressful and uncertain time for everyone! It seems like a lot of June brides are making their postponement decision by the end of April. But, everyone's situation is different and it never hurts to be proactive about plan b!

You also aren't alone right now! ❤️

There are a ton of June brides also talking about their Covid-19 concerns in these discussions:

    June 2020 brides: freaking out?

June and July Brides do not stress Covid-19!!!

I'm so sorry you had to change your plans, but I'm so glad you've locked down a new date!! BOpClAR83wqJF1bFtFERgypV_BICZsbBvwcIMhTa

Stay positive and hang in there!! You've bought yourself more time and hopefully more peace of mind!

    Hi Courtney!!
I live in Canton and I agree, many are not taking this seriously. I see it EVERY DAY from my house. I'm in the high risk group because of a practically non existent immune system. I'm so sorry you've had to cancel your plans and replan. I'm concerned that even June is too soon. I have your best interest at heart. Your guests will understand if they love you. I know from personal experience how frustrating that is. We have ditched any plans for this year. Our new date is May 11, 2021 in Ireland. I pray this is over by then. We are a bit hesitant to plan for then because a Dr on the national news said we'll have this on and off for two years!! We can't all postpone our weddings forever. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself!! Big hug from a fellow Mississippi bride. ❤
