Anyone else worry about not getting Rsvps back?

I sent out my wedding invitations August 5th and as of today August 14th I have only recieved 5 of the 77 back. I even pre stamped the return RSVP envelope and put our return address on it as well. My RSVP date isn't until September 21st, but has anyone else had a similar situation happen and what ended up happening? It is so unfair to me and I should not have to reach out to a ton of people who do not have the decency to RSVP.

I have anxiety so I am worrying.

It's super common for people to RSVP really late or not at all you will have to ask people for their RSVP after the date because likely there will be people who don't RSVP at all. But I noticed for me it was towards the deadline or right on the deadline that a lot more people RSVPd

That would be SUPER quick to get a lot of RSVPs, so I wouldn't worry. We sent out our invites 3 months early, guests had 6 weeks before they had to RSVP. We stamped & addressed the RSVP envelope and mentioned on the RSVP that they could do it online. We received 2-5 RSVPs per week (more in the mail than online), and still had to contact 60 people after our date had passed. I've never talked to a bride that didn't have to reach out to people to RSVP.

I just think it is so frustrating people do not RSVP. I had a friend have that happen recently and have to reach out to almost everyone.

Our invites went out a couple weeks ago and we have 80 rsvp's out of the 400+ we are waiting on haha! Some have been floating in here and there, but I do think a lot more will rsvp close to the deadline. I also will be posting the link on social media to let everyone know we need rsvp's asap. More will for sure roll in then.

We sent out RSVP out on July 31st and they have a RSVP due date of September 14th and so far we have received back 62 out of 206 invites (9x declines & 53x attending, one of the declines was a +1 that we gave, the guest is coming alone with no +1). More came via mail than online. The most RSVP so far were from FH parents friends.
I basically stalk my own mailbox. I have noticed Wednesday - Saturday that we receive the most RSVP. Both Saturday's since we shipped we received 5x. Tuesday's we receive the lowest (yesterday was the first day since we mailed that we didn't receive any, and last Tuesday we only received 1x). Monday's are also on the lower end.
I am still expecting to contact about 50x guests after all is said & done, but I am hoping to be surprised.

That’s about a normal amount for only sending them a week ago. Our rsvp date is next Tuesday and we are still missing about 40-50 RSVPs which in reality may really be 80-100 people so I’m sure next weekend we will be reaching out to a ton of people

It wasn't too bad! We totally expected it and left us 10 days in between RSVP date & final count due. Between me, my husband, his father, and my mother, it took an hour maybe!

You just sent out your invitations. I wouldn’t be worrying one bit about it. Honestly, I don’t even check my mail everyday, sometimes it’s only once a week, so if anyone else is like me they wouldn’t have even seen it yet!
