Hi Everyone!! I'm looking for my dress twins! Who else is wearing Allure 9155? What kind of crinoline did you go with? Did you make any alterations? Pictures please!! Also, any other dresses that are similar?

Help! I Love this dress and have lost all interest in any other dress, I think it's the ONE. But unfortunately can't find it ANYWHERE close to my size, seems to be more popular on the Plus end of sizes and I am worried trying on a 14 won't give me an accurate idea of the width of the bodice panels as it will be larger on a dress that size. I am usually a size 4-6 depending on the brand. Can I ask what size you ordered in & what size you tried on? We look similarly sized. Were alterations an arm and a leg? I was hoping to find a sample size or secondhand but it is looking like I will have to order it blind so any information would be super helpful!

    Thanks!

You are in luck! As much as I adored this gown, circumstances beyond my control made me unable to wear it and I ended up having to buy a new gown. My dress is completely unaltered, smoke-free home, cat-free home. It's in perfect condition really -- I never wore it! It's a bridal size 8, but that means about a street size 6. I was around size 4-6 when I bought it. I'm actually trying to sell it right now (to offset the cost of my new dress). I'm selling it on preowndedweddingdresses.com . It's unaltered and it's less worn than a sample dress. So, if you're interested, I'd be happy to give my lovely dress a new home!

Oh! And I'm not 100% sure but I think that the sample size I tried on was either a bridal size 10 or an 8. I'm thinking it was a 10. The third photo is of the actual dress when I went to pick it up from the bridal salon. I'd tried it on to make sure it fit before I took it home.

@Kate Thanks so much! I actually was able to find it in a size 6 which I think may be perfect (I am just waiting to hear on the measurements) as I am trying to slim down a slight bit more for the wedding, if I think the measurements of the 6 are too small though I would definitely be interested if it's an 8! I will keep you posted!

@Niki Absolutely! Try and get the designers measurements if you can. The waist on this particular dress runs a little narrow and it's a firm fitting dress. It's got a sort of corset built into the dress itself. As someone who used to sell wedding dresses, I highly recommend buying the size you are now and having it taken in versus trying to lose weight to fit in a certain dress size. Dresses can always be taken in, but not always taken out. Hence my dilemma of my size change over an unexpectedly long (3 year) engagement. I could "technically" have taken it out to fit my new size but it messes with the seams and the structure of the dress to take it out more than just a little (particularly with the cut and design of this dress.) Regardless of who you buy from, I'm sure you'll be a beautiful bride! Good luck to you!! Let me know if I can be of any help.

I am also selling my Allure 9155 in street size 12, bridal size 16. It's a beautiful dress and I wouldn't mind keeping it - but we are trying to raise money for my sister in law's wedding and I would love the sale to help with the purchase of her dream dress.

Hi, are you still selling? How much is it and where do you live?

    Thanks!
