Anyone else wearing a corset dress ??

Lisa, on February 24, 2017 at 7:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

Hey guys! I was just wondering how many of you are wearing a corset dress? I'm so worried I'm not going to be able to sit down or get into a vehicle lol. Any tips?!

I did. I would suggest making sure it isn't too tight before going out. Although it might feel snugger and give you more of a figure, it'll be harder to sit down in the long run.

I am! I sat down in it and it was fine. It was tight but fine.

I'd wear it at home sometimes to get a feel for how tight you can lace it & still be comfortable(ish)

Lol I keep wondering that myself! I was considering Uber to get to the hotel because I don't know if I can cram all that dress in our tiny truck! I won't get my dress in until end of may, so I can't practice yet lol

Question though, how do you practice if you don't want your FH to see your dress and have nobody to lace you up?! Lol

I will be wearing a dress that has a corset, not only is it hard to sit but it's also really hard to take deep breaths lol.

The corset isn't going to be what makes it hard to sit, in your dress. It's the style. Mermaid dresses are gorgeous, but I found they are the worst to try and sit in. My ball gown is a corset back, but it's actually fairly easy to sit in, in comparison to mermaid and trumpet styles I tried on.

Mine is corset, but it ends high enough I don't think it will be too uncomfortable. If anything, I'm hoping it helps with my terrible posture!!

Mine was a corset. Honestly, I didn't have much trouble in it after the first 30 minutes or so of having it on. You get used to it. I kinda had to jump backwards into the car, but it worked. Also... I was STARVING when dinner time came, the dress didn't let me eat. I had a few bites, and I felt full. That was depressing. All in all, I loved it. The corset kept my ta's in place, so I didn't have to wear a bra. Even through dancing and jumping around, it was perfect. Gave me a mighty fine shape, too!

It loosens up throughout the day as you wear it. By dinner I was able to sit fine.
