Anyone else not wearing a necklace?

I'm not wearing a necklace. My dress has lace cap sleeves and I feel it will be too much with a necklace.

I feel really exposed without at least a little drop, but I definitely won't be wearing the statement necklace I thought I was lol.

I'm not wearing a necklace because my dress has a beaded neckline. A necklace would be overkill.

What does your dress look like?

I'm not wearing a necklace. My dress has a lace illusion neckline, and I think anything would take away from that. I'm planning on a simple pair of earrings and a nice bracelet instead.

My dress has a high lace neck, so I'm just going with a gorgeous pair of earrings and a pearl bracelet. Also a pearl and rhinestone hairpiece in my hair.

No extra jewelry (necklace, earrings or bracelet) for me. My dress has an illusion neckline and enough detail that any of that would be overkill. I've got a nice hair clip that I'll be wearing.

I wore an all bling necklace - not statement size, though. I have long hair, and wore it mostly down. No statement earrings, since you could hardly see them. (Strapless/sweetheart gown).

I've seen too many brides wear strapless gowns, with their hair up, and stud/short earrings, and they looked like they were missing something.

A necklace isn't necessary if your dress has a lot of detail on top. Also, many are opting to go without a necklace in favor of statement earrings and a hair comb / clip (it can be overkill to do all of those). That was my preference - no necklace.

If you take a look at the Oscars over the past few years, there have been a LOT of bare necks.

I am debating. This is my dress. I think with the neckline, a necklace might be too much. I was thinking of maybe just a simple necklace but the more I contemplate I'm starting to lean toward no necklace.

I didn't wear one either, the neck of the dress was too pretty, and I didn't want to take away from that.

My dress has a high beaded neckline, so a necklace would look silly. The only jewelry I'm wearing is a bracelet.

I have a strapless dress with the top looking a bit like Jen's pic above ^ (sweetheart, lace and embellished waist). Incidentally I'm also going for larger earrings and no necklace. I feel it makes the sweetheart neckline look more fresh.
