Beginner October 2022

Anyone else have a microwedding/small wedding budget?

Hey ya'll so we won't be getting married until October 2021 but we are having a microwedding less than 15 including us.
Plus our budget is limited due to us both being in disability but we're aiming for $6000

I know for us we are wanting something simple fun and relaxed like get married in our state park go out to dinner and then go to a theme park My parents want a reception even though I have said no and I don't want eyes all on me. I feel with a reception that is extra money not needed plus with the photography being expensive...
What things are yall wanting to do with your limited budget? Have ya'll gotten any negative feedback about wanting to have a small wedding or budget?

We are having about 30 on a budget of maybe about $2000 when all is said and done, but possibly less? We’ve had some pushback especially when it came to the guest list, but we are the ones paying for it so there’s not much they can do but complain.

We're planning to host about 60 on a budget of $3,000. It'll be very simple and natural.

We had 9 people total and spent about $4700.
We had the ceremony in a park and then had dinner in a restaurant's private dining room. We had a musician for the ceremony, a photographer, a limo, and flowers.
We didn't get any pushback for not having anything bigger.

My parents were against me having a small wedding in the beginning, but after telling them both constantly that that’s what I wanted they stopped badgering me. I love that it’s going to be intimate and only immediate family!

Actually you can have a reception but not make it formal but more with games for people to play or ways to interact. We're having a very small wedding and some time later we're going to have a small casual party. You could still do the restaurant as the reception but maybe find a place with a private room for you to do the cake cutting and what not. My budget is much small so with $6000 you can do a lot. Maybe even do a small wedding and reception at a country club.

I have not received any negative feedback about our wedding. We're planning on inviting about 30 people and our budget will be under $5,000. Our wedding will be simple and pretty laid back but that's just what we wanted. I think that you should plan the wedding that you both want and skip whatever you don't want to do.

My wedding will be a total of 40 people, including us. We are having a reception at a small restaurant. I'm so blessed to have found this place. Even with my dress, which was way over 1000, we are looking at 5000. I am using a spreadsheet and am typing estimate and actual. Right now we staying within budget. I am looking on ebay and asking my friends who have a cricut machine to help. Thats honestly way cheaper than etsy, Champagne glasses will cost me close to 30 dollars, not including tax and shipping. My friends charger 10 bucks. On ebay i found my 3m cathedral veil for .17 cents. Its all about looking around and looking for bargains. Also the spreadsheet made me realize the stuff i was listing, i actually don't really need or will use. Just an idea.
