I had such a productive DIY weekend. I'm on a 2 week break from grad school, so I was able to devote the entire weekend to projects and some fun non-wedding stuff. I got a bunch of my glass signs made, and I could not be happier with how they turned out!! We also painted our plain table numbers to make them a little more unique, and I finished my ring bearer sign. I am almost done with signs I'm using in the aisle, but the random rain showers prevented the final clear coat step to finish them up. What projects did you get done?
I LOVE those signs! This weekend was probably my most productive weekend ever honestly hahaha. On Friday we finished our seating chart and applied for our marriage license. On Saturday we worked out some details for our rehearsal dinner, made signs, chose a florist and picked out my bouquet (I know, super last minute but whatever 🙄 lol), and I also wrote my speech for the rehearsal dinner, got our card box, paid off our cake and our photographer/videographer (they are a team), and scheduled our pickup ride from the airport to the hotel for our honeymoon. Just typing that all out I seriously cannot believe I did all that in one day 😂 Then Sunday I did like 4 loads of laundry and started packing for the honeymoon, spent an hour dealing with our horrible venue coordinator and attempting to iron things out, and then did some last-minute stress-shopping for the honeymoon (as if I need more sundresses? Lol)
These are all sooo cute! Didn't get anything wedding related done this weekend because we took a long trip to visit FH's best friend. My weeks/weekends seem to keep getting busier and busier so I'm trying to find ways to get everything done. My mom is out of school for the summer so I'm hoping she can help. I'm having to focus on my job and trying to get FH set up at the new house right now. I also took on a side job in addition to my full time job to help pay for stuff so I'm stresssssed.
Thank you! Wow, that sounds like so much on your plate right now!! It is SO HARD to find time to do wedding stuff when you have so many other things commanding your attention. Good luck and I hop your mom is able to help relieve some of your burden!
Thank you! I love your table numbers BTW. Do you have a set number of tables regardless of how many people RSVP? I was thinking I needed to wait until later to do table numbers but I may try to tackle these soon!
This weekend I hand foiled half my invitations 😓 (Who decided to let me DIY my own wedding LOL) I paid off my florist (YAY! Only 6 more months to go!) ((they are sola wood flowers)) and I finally got a date nailed down for my bachelorette!! (MOH and another bridesmaid are planning everything, so I’m just gonna sit back and wait for the day! 😊) it wasn’t the weekend, but I got FH’s ring ordered and in hand this week as well ❤️ He’s so excited about it!
Thank you so much!!! We tried the hashtag ones first just to make sure they worked, and after seeing those I was like EVERY SIGN IS GOING TO BE THIS!!!! Like seriously, now I'm super obsessed with this style!
We got a bit done, we made our DIY alcohol purchase list for open bar, went to the jeweler and bought our wedding rings, I put in an order for some remembrance charms and a gift for the flower girl, and I turned 30! Ahh!
