Anyone book their honeymoon last minute?

I think sometimes you can get deals booking close to the date, but flights may be expensive that would be my concern. I'm not going to be super helpful, we booked ours 6 months in advance = ( I hope you guys get the time off and can take your honeymoon as planned!

She did put her time off, but because she is on the newer side they sometimes let them sit there before they approve it! I am hoping we find out soon! I am hoping it doesn't get too expensive flight wise! I am praying we know soon!

I am getting married June 19th and I literally just booked our honeymoon today! I went through cheapcarribean.com and we are going to an all inclusive resort. It was cheaper then going through the resort itself.

We are booking last minute. I'm getting married June 25th and probably will not book until the week before, but this is bc we are waiting to see if Zika is going to hit our preferred destination! I think you should be fine! Use googleflights to get the best flight deals!

One of my BM's always books her vacations last minute and gets great deals the only problem she ever had is sometimes not getting direct flights but if that's not a deal breaker than you should b good. Good luck!

FH and I are planning on doing this. We just want to be able to be spontaneous and see what we feel like after the wedding. It could be something closer by, or something more adventurous!

Your honeymoon is about the same length as mine give a day or two. I just booked ours last month.

I get married Friday and we booked ours last week! We are going to Vail though and it's off season. The flight prices did increase....FH just wouldn't commit.

Your challenge is a lot more common than you may think! We offer cancel for any reason protection on all of our packages. This way if something does happen-hurricane, can't get off work, bad hair day- you can cancell and get a full refund, even on non-refundable published air!

Thank you for posting this. As of right now we aren't planning a honeymoon because we don't know what my job situation will be and if I can get time off. Now I know it is possible to still have a honeymoon last minute.

I feel your pain! We're planning to honeymoon within driving distance, so we're not locked into a specific flight.
